Suggested Topic for Discussion: Your Holiday Stress Game Plan

I thought I'd toss out a possible topic for discussion. If it works for you, please feel free to share your comments. Here's my suggested topic.

This year could be an extra-stressful holiday season, due to the downturn in the economy. Many families will be facing an uncertain economic future, the possibility of job losses, tighter budgets, etc., on top of the usual holiday stresses. How do you intend to manage stress during the holiday season?

If there's something else on your mind that you'd rather chat about, please feel free to toss that out instead.

Re: Suggested Topic for Discussion: Your Holiday Stress Game Plan

It was pretty quiet here tonight so I took the opportunity to do some blog maintenance.

I ended up creating a new page over at http://www.motherofallblogs.com (my personal blog) that talks about ways to minimize holiday stress by avoiding overspending; and/or thinking about making gifts, shopping thrift/second-hand, or buying handmade. (I don't think any of us need any more money stress right now.) You can find the page (which is still a work in progress) at http://anndouglas.typepad.com/themotherofallblogs/indie-shopping-a-guide-to.html

See you next month. And have a happy Halloween in the meantime.

I find some of my life coaching clients are so used to a harried pace in December that they never consider there might be an alternative.Custom Dissertation They cancel sessions or show up looking like they’ve been in a prizefight. But there is an alternative, for sure, and the first step is to recognize that the holiday season doesn’t have to be a stress fest.Nursing Dissertation

Thats exactly right, I agree with the guy above. Nice comment - but is it as nice as Vistaprint Coupon ? Hardly.
