What is a typical age for kids to not believe? Do you think there is a limbo time between when they don't believe. And they tell us they don't believe?

I found a site which sells Santa letters and Santa calls which I want to send to my kids and keep them believing in Santa, since that's one of the only reason they behave during Christmas.

I don't know if there is a standard age for kids to stop believing in Santa. I was about 9 I think. My girls stopped believing at about 8. My son is 7 and he is questioning us about whether or not Santa is real. I went to that site, www.ezsantaletters.com, and looked at their offerings. I think I may arrange for him to get a live call from Santa. I think that will help convince him this year anyway. I am really not ready to give up playing Santa yet myself.

I have several friends who do not speak much English. They like the idea of giving letters from Santa Claus to their kids but don't know how to go about it. I searched the web extensively to find a foreign language site that provides this service and couldn't. After reading this discussion, I tried emailing the owner of www.ezsantaletters.com to see if he had any ideas. The answer was surprising. He wrote back that his shopping cart is only capable of processing English orders, but if another language was requested, he would take the order, translate the letters before printing them and produce a letter from Santa Claus, Pere' Noel, or whatever name is used in whatever language a parent wants. Thought I would pass that along.
